America's Health Rankings
For the last 20 years, United Health Foundation has compiled America's Health Rankings – a state-by-state score of our nation's health, pulling from over 40 health measures from immunization to obesity to sick days. They approached Rockfish with a simple problem: to help Americans understand what these numbers truly mean about our health as a nation, extend the publicity far beyond the new data release each year, and foster a year-round conversation about the issues. To solve for this issue, Rockfish developed a complete Digital Ecosystem Roadmap for America's Health Rankings – a single document describing their current landscape and our refined insights, a clear definition of how their brand could come to life in the digital space, and a granular plan of action for each digital platform. Channels and tactics from websites to blogs to Facebook to Social PR were all described in detail with best practices, channel-specific goals and key performance indicators. The complete digital ecosystem launched December 7, 2010 (along with the latest Rankings), and we're excited to say it has shown strong signs of success: site visits nearly 3.5 times longer year over year, over 2.5 times as many daily visitors during the 2nd week of launch compared to last year, increased return visitors and increased mobile browser traffic. Rockfish was honored to win "Best In Show" in the Internet Advertising Competition for its work on America's Health Rankings.
